Good leaders are good readers. Do you know that a leading CEO reads around 4-5 books a month on an average?
Let's be pretty honest here, based on our schedule forget about reading 5 books a month, we would really enjoy getting a download of knowledge from the world's leader even if we at least read one book a month! That is 12 books a year, which is still a lot!
Strategy: Plan Your Days!
We usually have 2 days off in a week.
which means at least 7-8 days off a month!
During my weekend I dedicate listening to 1 audiobook a day, irrelevant to the time it takes 3,4,8 hours. Doesn't matter! After all, I am investing in my skills and it does pay back big time.
Research says your brain registers events & stories faster compared to reading for an example childhood stories narrated/ready by your parents or songs which you listen to one the go. Similarly, I will share one technique which I follow where I at-least finish 5 books a month! Which is as good as 60 books a year! Imagine what you can possibly create with that kind of knowledge, what can you possibly be or achieve with all that information coming from a trusted and a well-known source and it is absolutely free!!!
